Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a Multi Site Security Officer in Tempe, AZ. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment through access control, patrols, and timely reporting of issues.

You will interact with client employees and guests, enforce site rules, and utilize security technology throughout your shift. The position requires a high school diploma and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and stay calm under pressure.
• Must pass pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control and patrol at multiple client sites.
• Identify and report safety issues and suspicious activity.
• Provide information to employees and guests and assist with inquiries.
• Follow post orders and complete rounds.
• Utilize security technology throughout shift.
• Conduct property tours as required.

Multi Site Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Tempe, AZ

Wage Range: $18.00-$21.00/HR

The Multi Site Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
