Job summary

Securitas is hiring a Security Officer in Chandler, AZ. The role involves monitoring premises, enforcing regulations, and interacting with employees and guests to maintain a safe environment.

You will perform access control, patrols, and respond to incidents, while using various technology devices. The position requires professionalism, vigilance, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Primary Location: Chandler, AZ

Wage Range: $18.00-$21.00/HR

12 Hour Shifts

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
