Job summary

Soliant is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in three Detroit-area schools, with the option to work virtually or onsite.

The contract involves delivering OT services 1.5 days per week, developing goals, implementing treatment plans, collaborating with teachers and families, and attending IEP meetings as needed.

Travel between campuses is required for in-person sessions, and the role emphasizes flexibility, creativity, and a passion for student growth.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan OT license.
• Experience in a school setting.
• Excellent communication with students, families, and staff.
• Comfort with teletherapy and in-person therapy.
• Experience with K-12 populations.
• Ability to manage caseloads across campuses.
• Adaptable and creative, focused on student growth.
• IEP documentation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students at three schools (virtually or onsite).
• Assess student needs and develop individualized goals and treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy sessions tailored to each student’s developmental and educational needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service professionals.
• Monitor progress, document services, and participate in IEP meetings as needed.
• Travel between school sites if providing in-person services.
• Foster a positive, encouraging environment that supports students’ academic and functional goals.
