Job summary

Soliant is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist for a part-time, school-based contract near Romulus, MI (PK-12). You will provide OT services under IEPs, drawing on experience from schools, home health, and healthcare.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and staff, document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and help students build independence and functional skills.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible Michigan OT license required.
• Experience in educational settings and with IEPs preferred.
• Strong communication with students, educators, and families.
• Ability to manage a diverse PK-12 caseload.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services according to IEPs.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress; adjust therapy as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support learning.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations.
• Maintain records and comply with special education regulations.
• Provide classroom modifications and assistive equipment guidance.
