Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a Multi-Site Director to oversee day-to-day operations of a defined group of school-based sites. You will visit sites, support teachers, and build strong relationships with school staff to ensure HKP is a trusted partner in every school.

Regular travel between program sites is required. The role is part-time with shifts in the morning and afternoon, and includes employer-paid childcare benefits for enrolled children.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13.
• Two years of college with 18 credits in a related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• NY State Children’s Program Administrator Credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• School-Age Child Care Credential or equivalent office-recognized credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• Some experience managing or mentoring staff.
• Comfortable with scheduling, logistics, and managing daily operational coverage across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and onboard site-level staff across multiple locations.
• Build daily and weekly staff schedules; manage coverage proactively so sites are never understaffed.
• Visit sites regularly to observe program quality and compliance firsthand; coach and support Site Directors and teachers.
• Address performance issues directly and document appropriately.
• Foster a positive, mission-driven team culture across your sites.
• Maintain organized, accurate site files that are ready for review at any time.
