Job summary

Mark-Taylor, a leading Arizona apartment operator, seeks an Assistant Community Manager in Avondale to support daily operations and maintain five-star service. You will oversee accounting tasks, lease processing, move-ins/move-outs and resident relations to ensure smooth community performance.

The role requires 1+ year in luxury property management, strong Excel and communication skills, and familiarity with property software. Full-time on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Luxury Property Management as Leasing Manager or Assistant Community Manager.
• Strong accounting, bookkeeping and reporting abilities.
• Coaching and development skills.
• Proficient with Excel; familiarity with property software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and professional presence.
• Experience using Resman or Yardi is desirable.
• Basic written and spoken English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting activity: daily bank deposits, records, rental payments, weekly reports, monthly financials.
• Ensure all legal documents are processed and properly served to residents.
• Assist in lease transactions and move-ins/outs, renewal paperwork.
• Respond to concerns promptly to boost resident satisfaction and retention.
• Answer inquiries about the community, repairs, rent, and policies.
• Contribute to community cleanliness and curb appeal ongoingly.
• Assist with leasing responsibilities and resident events as needed.
