Job summary

Mark-Taylor is seeking an Assistant Community Manager at Avondale, AZ. You will support community accounting, leasing, and resident services to maintain five-star standards across our apartments.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in luxury property management, strong Excel and communication skills, and familiarity with Resman or Yardi platforms. This role emphasizes teamwork and community upkeep.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of luxury property management experience.
• Intermediate to advanced accounting, bookkeeping, and reporting.
• Demonstrated coaching and development ability.
• Associate's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Financial acumen with proficiency in MS Excel.
• Excellent communication and professional presence.
• Resman or Yardi experience is desirable.
• Basic written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Manage community accounting activity: daily deposits, rent payments, and weekly/monthly financials.
• Ensure proper legal documents are processed and served to residents.
• Assist in leases: prepare, verify, process move-ins/outs, renewals.
• Respond promptly to resident concerns to boost satisfaction and retention.
• Provide accurate information about the community, policies, and rents.
• Contribute to cleanliness and curb appeal of the community.
• Assist in planning and participating in resident functions as directed.
• Support all leasing responsibilities as needed.
