Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks a PSC Manager to oversee patient service operations across multiple Houston locations. You will drive efficient specimen collection, processing, testing, and reporting while developing KPIs to measure success and guide improvements.

Lead phlebotomy staff, manage budgets and quality programs, and coordinate with leadership to ensure compliant, high-quality laboratory services for patients.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
• Current PBT (ASCP) phlebotomy certification or substitution options may apply.
• 6+ years phlebotomy experience and 2+ years supervising/phlebotomy operations.
• Knowledge of budgeting, billing, and cost analysis.
• Knowledge of quality control and QA principles for waived testing.
• Familiarity with AAAHC, CAP, OSHA, and CLIA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of the Patient Service team across locations.
• Coordinate specimen collection, processing, testing, and reporting for waived and reference testing.
• Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare and analyze quarterly and monthly reports.
• Drive process improvements and staff development across multiple sites.
