Job summary

Daifuku is seeking an Operations Support Manager to ensure successful site operational support by delivering training, coaching, and guidance to achieve safety, customer, and employee satisfaction while meeting quality and financial goals.

The role leads a distributed operations network with 800+ employees across 50+ locations in the United States and reports to Regional Operations Manager; travel up to 75% and on-site leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within the service industry.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed, high-volume multi-site operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and project management capabilities.
• Analytical skills to identify short- and long-term organizational trends.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Foster safety culture and ensure core safety programs.
• Provide training and support to site leadership and technicians.
• Ensure safe, cost-effective operations across a dispersed network.
• Monitor KPIs related to safety, people, quality, output, and cost.
• Coordinate with safety leaders and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Oversee operations for 800+ employees across 50+ locations.
• Lead project management across multiple initiatives; meet deadlines.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning.
• Mentor employees and drive performance improvements.
• Plan and implement systems to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Handle on-call emergencies and manage external contractors.
