Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit seeks a Multi Site Security Officer to ensure safety and security across several site locations in Fairbanks, AK. The officer will patrol, monitor systems, control access, and respond to emergencies to maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors.

Daily duties include supervising access points, coordinating with site personnel, and upholding safety protocols while providing professional service and visible deterrence across locations.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
• Control building access by verifying identification, checking credentials, and managing visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and security incidents.
• Enforce security protocols, company rules, and regulations for premises, personnel, and visitors.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and security equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
• Investigate suspicious activities, behavior, and security breaches.

Multi Site Security Officer - Full Time

Must be available any day, at least two shifts & will be stationed at various site locations

Primary Site Location: Fairbanks, AK

Schedule: Sunday 11pm-7am, Monday 12pm-4pm, Flex remaining days (available any day, at least 2 shifts, and will be stationed at multiple site locations).

Wage: $21.00/Hour

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.
