Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. seeks a Multi Site Security Officer to protect people and assets across multiple sites from Fairbanks, AK. The role requires patrolling, access control, and rapid response to incidents with a focus on visible deterrence and safety.

The position features a full-time schedule with varied shifts, including overnight hours. Candidates should have strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must stay calm under pressure.
• Strong observational skills and quick decision-making.
• Good communication abilities and attention to detail.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening (drug test and background).

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, and entry points.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarms, and security equipment.
• Control building access by verifying IDs and managing visitor logs.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and security incidents.
• Enforce security protocols and company rules for premises and visitors.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
• Investigate suspicious activities and security breaches.

Must be available any day, at least two shifts & will be stationed at various site locations

Primary Site Location

Fairbanks, AK

Schedule

Sunday 11pm-7am, Monday 12pm-4pm, Flex remaining days (available any day, at least 2 shifts, and will be stationed at multiple site locations).

Objectives

• Ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and company assets.
• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Help prevent theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and other security threats.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!

• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
