Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Sparks, NV is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to scale and support our data center networks, automate workflows, and partner with network engineers to drive reliable infrastructure.

You will join a fast-paced team, handle on-site hardware deployment, capacity management, and participate in 24/7 operations including after-hours support.

This role requires hands-on hardware and basic networking experience and offers opportunities to work across AWS data centers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
