Job summary

Scot Forge is seeking a Corporate Functional Manager - NDT to provide strategic and technical leadership for NDT operations across our manufacturing facilities. This role will drive safety, quality, productivity, and compliance while standardizing inspection practices and equipment programs.

Working closely with Plant Managers and cross-functional leaders, you will develop NDT talent, sponsor training and certification, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to advance Scot Forge's

Qualifications

• 10+ years of NDT, quality, metallurgy, or related manufacturing experience.
• Leadership experience within manufacturing operations, technical teams, or multi-site environments.
• Deep knowledge of UT, MT, and PT
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Lead NDT strategy, performance improvement, and operational excellence initiatives across all facilities
• Standardize inspection processes, certifications, equipment programs, and best practices
• Provide technical oversight of UT, MT, and PT programs
• Partner with plant leadership to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity
• Develop NDT leaders and technical talent through training, certification programs, coaching, and succession planning
• Collaborate with Quality, Metallurgy, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams to solve complex technical challenges
• Support capital planning, technology investments, equipment modernization, and process improvement efforts
• Serve as the company's subject matter expert for NDT technologies, standards, specifications, and inspection best practices
