Job summary

Scot Forge is seeking a Corporate Functional Manager - Forging to provide strategic and technical leadership for forging operations across our manufacturing facilities, including Spring Grove, Franklin Park, and Clinton sites.

You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and capacity through standardization, talent development, and continuous improvement, partnering with plant leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver long-term growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years forging, metal forming, or related manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading manufacturing operations or technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of forging processes, tooling, materials behavior, process controls, and manufacturing best practices.
• Experience leading continuous improvement and operational performance initiatives.
• Ability to influence results and build alignment across multiple facilities and functions.
• Strong communication, leadership, and talent development skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead forging strategy, performance improvement, and operational excellence initiatives across all facilities.
• Standardize forging processes, operating practices, and process controls.
• Partner with plant leadership to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and capacity.
• Develop forging leaders and technical talent through coaching, training, and succession planning.
• Lead continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, and transformational change initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Metallurgy, Quality, Maintenance, Sales, and Operations teams to solve complex manufacturing challenges.
• Support capital planning, equipment modernization, automation, and capacity expansion projects.
• Serve as the company's subject matter expert for forging processes and best practices.
