Job summary

Scot Forge Company is seeking a Quality Control / NDT Technician to ensure forged products meet customer, industry, and internal quality requirements. Training is available for entry-level candidates willing to learn and grow with the company.

You will inspect materials, learn UT/PT/MT methods, and work with cross-functional teams to uphold safety and quality standards in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing, heavy equipment, Quality Control, or Quality Assurance experience.
• Ability to read and understand specifications, drawings, and inspection requirements.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished forgings to verify quality requirements.
• Operate and learn non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment and inspection techniques.
• Train and certify in UT, PT, MT, and other quality inspection methods.
• Review drawings, specs, and work orders to determine inspection requirements.
• Record inspection results, prepare reports, and document non-conforming material.
• Complete customer and internal quality documentation.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Metallurgy, and Sales to address quality concerns.
