Job summary

Shirley Parsons is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee two sites north of Montgomery, AL. The role requires a dynamic safety leader with a proven track record in EHS projects and guiding other EHS professionals.

You will implement safety programs, conduct training, and ensure OSHA and regulatory compliance on two Alabama sites. The role involves hands-on site presence at Goodwater and Eclectic, with a focus on developing relationships and driving a culture of safety and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 3+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Proven track record of leading EHS projects (identifying areas of improvement, implementing policies/programs, and owning measurable results).
• Passionate about creating a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage EHS projects onsite.
• Combination of program management and people management.
• Lead a team of 2 safety supervisors and 2 safety technicians.
• Building relationships onsite, getting buy-in from staff, and being a cultural safety leader.
• Observe and monitor workplace safety practices on the production floor, proactively addressing concerns.
