Job summary

Shirley Parsons is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to oversee site operations in a high-volume industrial production environment. The role focuses on leading and optimizing EHS programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering with plant leadership to improve safety performance.

The successful candidate will drive safety culture, conduct incident investigations, and implement audits and risk assessments to reduce workplace risk across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing EHS programs within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and relevant regulatory frameworks, along with experience in environmental permitting.
• Proven leadership ability with experience influencing teams and driving a proactive safety culture.
• Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementing EHS management systems (e.g., ISO standards).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of site-wide EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies, managing inspections, communications, and compliance requirements.
• Oversee incident investigations, audits, risk assessments, and corrective action plans to reduce workplace risk.
• Drive employee engagement through training initiatives, safety committees, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and continuous improvement goals.
