Job summary

Shirley Parsons partners with a leading industrial manufacturing organization in the Columbus, Ohio area to recruit an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager. This hands-on role supports multiple facilities across the Midwest, strengthening EHS compliance and building a proactive safety culture with operations leadership.

You will lead development and implementation of EHS programs, audits, and training, while monitoring metrics to drive continuous improvement and better operational performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and incident investigation.
• Experience with environmental compliance: hazardous waste, air permitting, stormwater.
• Ability to influence across operations and senior leaders.
• Multi-site manufacturing experience; CSP/ASP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of EHS programs across multiple sites.
• Partner with operations and leadership to drive safety culture and engagement.
• Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Develop and deliver EHS training, written programs, and procedures.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement initiatives to improve compliance and safety.
