Job summary

ONWARD SEARCH is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Spring, TX to support multiple wash locations. The role involves electrical and mechanical upkeep, preventive maintenance, and rapid response to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial or commercial equipment maintenance, can work safely with 480V systems, and lift up to 50 lbs. A HS diploma or GED is required; a company vehicle and tools are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Over 5 years of experience in industrial or commercial equipment maintenance.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including working with 480V systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders.
• Knowledge of PLCs, conveyor systems, and pneumatic components.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the mechanical and electrical health of up to five wash locations.
• Perform all necessary mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment components.
• Schedule and manage repairs and projects, ordering parts as needed.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and document all activities.
