Job summary

Mister Car Wash is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to keep our car wash sites running safely and efficiently. You’ll apply electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills to install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment across market locations.

The role requires 2+ years in industrial maintenance, strong troubleshooting, and a willingness to travel in a company vehicle. Flexible hours include nights and weekends; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance (breakdown experience preferred).
• Electrical experience including exposure to 3-phase high-voltage systems, low-voltage systems, AC/DC electrical systems, control wiring and powered equipment, VFD/PLC troubleshooting (preferred).
• Solid skills in at least four areas: electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics, plumbing.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and respond quickly in fast-paced environments.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and on-call hours.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs., bend, crawl, and climb ladders.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Apply electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills to keep equipment performing at its best.
• Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on industrial car wash equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems including control wiring and 3‑phase power.
• Travel across your market in a company-provided vehicle to complete scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs.
• Minimize downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns and equipment failures.
• Partner with regional teams on new equipment installations and technology rollouts.
• Build strong relationships with teammates who rely on your technical expertise.
• Maintain safe, efficient, and fully operational locations reflecting our commitment to excellence.
