Position Summary
We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on-site in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems and equipment to ensure reliable and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and mechanical troubleshooting in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks on facility equipment and machinery
• Gather operational data to support predictive and preventative maintenance efforts
• Carry out component-specific tasks such as bearing changes, alignment, and equipment inspections
• Handle welding and cutting tasks as part of repair and upkeep procedures>
• Monitor and inspect active machinery, logging performance and identifying concerns
• Use mobile equipment when necessary to complete maintenance duties efficiently
• Consistently follow OSHA safety rules, wearing required protective gear while on-site
• Maintain compliance with internal safety standards and strive to exceed expectations
• Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by leadership

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior experience with mechanical maintenance and repair
• Skilled in inspections, diagnostics, and issue resolution for mechanical systems
• Familiarity with automotive or plant-based mechanical systems
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
