Job summary

Greystar, located in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a multi-site role primarily based at the Sedgefield office. You will oversee and perform technical and mechanical work to ensure building systems, grounds, and amenities meet Greystar quality standards.

You will manage work orders, coordinate make-readies, supervise vendors, maintain inventory, and assist with budget planning while upholding safety procedures and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related field preferred.
• Own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; must handle tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and repairing.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, conduct pre-move-out inspections, create punch lists, and schedule vendors.
• Maintain grounds, exteriors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality and safety standards.
• Periodically inspect work by service team members and contractors, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies and coordinate with Community Manager on budgets.
• Support budget development and cost-control measures; promote safe, efficient practices.
