Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations across multiple bakery facilities, focusing on reliability programs, process optimization, and hands-on leadership.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive preventive/predictive maintenance, strengthen safety and quality, and monitor OEE, MTBF, and MTTR while traveling between sites in Ohio to sustain continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience in bakery or food manufacturing.
• Hands-on technical expertise with bakery processing equipment such as sheeters, dividers, mixers, proofers, and conveyors.
• Strong working knowledge of safety, food safety, and environmental compliance standards.
• Ability to travel regularly between sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance activities across multiple bakery facilities.
• Lead, train, and develop maintenance teams to ensure scheduling, troubleshooting, and timely work order completion.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently (sheeters, dividers, mixers, proofers, ovens).
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
• Track and report performance metrics (OEE, yield, energy efficiency).
• Foster continuous learning, innovation, and proactive problem-solving.
