Job summary

TalentGate, a Hunt Group, Inc. company, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, and equipment-performance activities across a dynamic, changeover-intensive food packaging environment. You will drive uptime, preventive maintenance, and technician capability on multiple sites.

The role demands hands-on leadership, deep troubleshooting ability, and the ability to balance practical systems with speed and flexibility typical of a growth-focused operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in food packaging or food manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and technical problem-solving ability across electrical, pneumatic, automation, and line issues.
• Ability to build structure around PM scheduling, issue tracking, and parts management without overengineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and reliability across a multi-campus operation to improve uptime and line readiness.
• Act as the senior technical escalation point for equipment issues and chronic downtime.
• Build structure around preventive maintenance, scheduling, issue tracking, and parts control.
• Develop and strengthen the maintenance technician team, coaching and bench development.
• Partner with operations to align technicians with line needs and resolve recurring issues quickly.
• Own parts strategy, vendor support, and resources to minimize downtime.
• Support ramp-up and operation of semi-automated and fully automated lines.
• Maintain presence across multiple buildings and campuses and adapt to priorities.
• Implement practical maintenance-system rigor without slowing deployment or innovation.
• Help the company professionalize while retaining entrepreneurial spirit.
