Job summary

BFS Companies is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations across its network of facilities, including restaurants and convenience stores with gas stations.

You will work with outside vendors, ensure safety and brand standards, and manage a preventative maintenance program while tracking work orders in Limble CMMS—supporting budget control and operational reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multi-site maintenance in food service/restaurants and convenience stores.
• Hands-on diagnostics for HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, electrical, and plumbing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to stay focused and calm under pressure.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities maintenance for restaurants and convenience stores with gas stations.
• Connect with Operation Supervisors to support business performance.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety requirements, and brand standards.
• Determine when repairs require completion through approved vendors.
• Maintain vendor relationships to obtain quotes for repairs and activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness to control expenses within budget.
• Prepare status reports for management review.
• Assist in overseeing and improving the preventive maintenance program.
• Manage and track work orders with the computerized maintenance management system (Limble).
• Assist the Construction Department with minor remodels, and equipment replacements as needed.
