Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions seeks a proactive Area Maintenance Manager to lead daily maintenance and material handling operations across multi-site facilities. The role emphasizes safety and efficient, reliable equipment performance to support one of the world’s largest online retailers.

You will oversee staffing, training, performance reviews, and root cause analysis to uphold world-class maintenance standards and drive continuous improvement within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) is required.
• 4+ years leading and coaching employee performance in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years' experience with preventive/predictive maintenance of equipment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily functions of material handling operations and maintenance for multi-site facilities.
• Plan, schedule, and guide the work of employees; evaluate quality of work.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance of high speed conveyance systems and other equipment.
• Assist Managers with interviewing/hiring, training, and evaluations.
• Formulate and communicate work standards and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement via root cause analyses and corrective actions.
