Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead daily maintenance operations across multi-site facilities. You will ensure a safety-first culture and oversee reliable material handling systems for one of the world's largest online retailers.

You will plan staffing, coach teams, manage preventive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with client operations and CBRE's Maintenance team. This role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) required.
• 4+ years of leadership and coaching experience in manufacturing.
• 2+ years' experience with preventive/predictive maintenance of equipment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Advanced knowledge of financial terms, forecasting and budgeting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Willingness to travel off-site as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily functions of material handling and maintenance across multi-site facilities.
• Plan, schedule, and advise the work of employees; evaluate quality of work.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance of high speed conveyance systems and equipment.
• Assist Managers with hiring, training, performance evaluations and corrective actions.
• Disseminate work standards and procedures; manage staffing and overtime.
• Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Provide performance management for team development and growth.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and maintenance teams.
