Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead daily maintenance and material handling operations across multiple sites. The role emphasizes safety, team leadership, and continuous improvement within a large client environment.

Ideal candidates will bring 4+ years in maintenance leadership, strong communication, and hands-on experience with preventive/predictive maintenance. A technical degree and MS Office skills are required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial, electrical, mechanical, civil engineering or related field.
• 4+ years leading and coaching manufacturing or maintenance teams.
• 2+ years experience with preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and reading drawings/blueprints.
• Willingness to travel off-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily functions of material handling operations and maintenance for multi-site facilities.
• Plan, schedule, and advise the work of employees; evaluate quality of work.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance of high-speed conveyance systems and other equipment.
• Assist Managers with hiring, training, performance evaluations, and corrective actions.
• Formulate, disseminate, and communicate work standards and procedures.
• Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Provide performance management for team development and growth.
• Plan staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime.
• Model CBRE values and cultivate positive client relationships.
