Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee on-site property maintenance and vendor coordination at our California communities. You will lead maintenance staff, respond to resident requests, and ensure safety and quality in line with Avanath standards.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, cost-conscious management of materials, on-call availability, and strong customer service. A valid driver’s license and hands-on trades experience are required to deliver reliable service.

Qualifications

• Three years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry and appliance repair.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.
• On-call and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and schedule maintenance tasks with urgency and accuracy.
• Inspect and maintain grounds, buildings and systems daily to identify hazards and ensure safety.
• Manage inventory and order maintenance supplies within budget guidelines.
• Oversee maintenance staff and vendors; ensure quality and timely project completion.
• Maintain records of service requests, inspections, and safety compliance.
