Job summary

George Thomas, in partnership with a leading corrugated and print packaging manufacturer based in CA, seeks a Director of Maintenance to support four manufacturing locations in CA. This onsite role requires travel to sites to lead maintenance and reliability initiatives and manage a diverse technical team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive maintenance leadership in manufacturing.
• Experience leading maintenance across multiple facilities.
• Strong expertise in reliability, TPM, preventive/predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for maintenance across a multi‑site operation.
• Develop and mentor a high‑performing maintenance leadership team.
• Drive TPM and reliability initiatives to improve uptime and asset performance.
• Manage maintenance budgets, capital projects and site improvement programs.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Safety, HR and Finance to align priorities.
• Monitor KPIs (OEE, MTBF, MTTR) and lead continuous improvement.
