Job summary

Thrive Communities is seeking a Leasing Associate in Seattle to support leasing, resident relations, and marketing efforts at our properties. You will greet prospective residents, show units, and process applications while maintaining an exceptional level of resident satisfaction.

The role requires strong sales/communication skills, reliability in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to learn property-management software such as Yardi.

Qualifications

• 1+ year working in customer service
• 1+ year prior sales or leasing experience
• Basic computer skills with the ability to learn/navigate software systems
• Familiarity with affordable housing programs such as LIHTC, MFTE, Section 8 preferred
• Prior experience in property management or similar industry is a plus
• NALP Certification, or other NAAEI credential, is a plus
• Yardi/CRM and OnSite experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Leasing: Generates lease paperwork and other documents; trains and mentors leasing team; greets prospective residents and shows the community; maintains tour path and model units with maintenance team.
• Resident Relations: Builds a sense of community, maintains positive relations, inspects property when on site.
• Marketing: Manages ads on Craigslist, Weblisters; tracks market conditions and implements ideas to improve resident satisfaction.
• Administrative: Handles calls/emails promptly; updates reports; files paperwork; processes move-ins/outs; follows up on service requests.
• General: Performs any additional duties as assigned by management.
