Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a seasoned Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for a lease-up property in California. You will lead the property team, drive leasing and revenue, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain high resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum of relevant property management experience managing day-to-day operations of an apartment community.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides input into the development of budgets for the property by analyzing financial statements and reports.
• Manages revenues by setting rent rates, collecting dues, and reviewing monthly financial status reports.
• Approves invoices and oversees vendor/contractor communications and payments.
• Controls expenditures within the approved budget and maintains petty cash balance.
• Oversees lease enforcement, applications, renewals, notices, evictions, and late fee collection.
• Analyzes market trends and implements short- and long-range marketing and leasing strategies.
• Promotes resident satisfaction and retention by addressing complaints and service requests.
• Conducts regular property inspections ensuring safety and appearance standards are met.
• Supervises staff through hiring, training, and performance management.
• Supports client/owner relations with property tours and performance updates.
• Completes accounting, financial, and administrative reports as needed.
• For California, adheres to Lease File Checklist and state requirements.
