Job summary

State of Florida in Franklin Correctional Institution seeks a Distributed Computer Systems Analyst to ensure reliable operation, maintenance, and support of computer systems and networks across Department sites. The role reports to Central Office in Tallahassee and requires on-site presence.

The position involves planning, installing, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN networks, hardware/software support, backups, and coordination with other agencies. On-call support is included.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license required.
Experience or education in information technology.
Ability to support computer systems across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for computer systems and networks.
Plan, design, install, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks.
Install and support hardware/software, manage backups and recovery.
Coordinate with departments and agencies to resolve data processing issues.
Support VoIP phones, mobile devices, education and re-entry programs, and be on-call.
