Job summary

Jobtailor in Gainesville, FL seeks a technically skilled IT Support Technician to assist the System Administrator with hardware, software and networking tasks, with frequent on-site travel to County Health Departments.

You will perform workstation/server setup, configure networks, monitor and troubleshoot problems, and support users through the help desk while maintaining plans and training users.

Qualifications

• Minimum - Valid Driver's License.
• Minimum of 1 year IT experience.
• Preferred - Industry certifications such as CompTIA+, Network+, Security+.

Responsibilities

• Assist the System Administrator with LAN and WAN support at local and regional levels.
• Support CHD users on-site at consortium locations; troubleshoot hardware, software and networking issues.
• Perform workstation and server setup and configuration; manage network settings and peripheral installations.
• Maintain a work plan and schedule for consortium IT support.
• Generate, track and process help desk tickets through the Help Desk Application.
