Job summary

Jobtailor in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Desktop Support specialist to provide technical assistance to computer system users across state offices. You will answer questions or resolve problems in person, by phone, or remotely, and assist with hardware and software installations, networking, and video conferencing.

The role requires Windows and Office 365 experience, strong troubleshooting, and travel to multiple Commission locations.

Qualifications

Experience in desktop support providing customer service, supporting Microsoft Windows and Office 365 products.
Two years of work experience troubleshooting personal computer hardware and software.
Scripting knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance to computer system users.
Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from remote locations.
Assist in the use of technology hardware and software, including printing, installations, office productivity software, electronic mail, networking, video conferencing and operating systems.
Travel to various Commission locations to perform duties.
Install hardware and software; supervise installations of communications hardware, wiring, and services; identify and resolve computer and communication issues.
