Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking an experienced IT Support professional to provide day-to-day assistance across offices, plants, satellite locations, and job sites. You will manage IT requests, diagnose network issues, and maintain VoIP systems while coordinating with Corporate IT to ensure reliable technology.

The role requires 5+ years in network/PC support, knowledge of AD, servers, and storage, and the ability to communicate complex tech concepts to non-technical staff.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent combination of training, experience and certifications.
• CompTIA A+ - preferred.
• Microsoft Role-Based Certification (Single-Exam) - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and manage incoming IT Service Desk requests to resolve employee technology issues.
• Diagnose and resolve local network and communication issues to maintain operations.
• Maintain and support local VoIP phone systems and equipment.
• Support and maintain local Active Directory objects, servers, and services.
• Assist in testing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans.
• Coordinate acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment.
• Maintain hardware inventory and software licensing.
• Travel to plants, satellite offices and job sites may be frequent.
