Job summary

Actalent in Lincoln, AL is seeking an Inventory Analyst for a contract position to support multi-site material handling across North America. You will lead inventory analysis, cycle counts, and data-driven decisions with production and logistics teams, ensuring system accuracy that supports production readiness.

You will apply root cause analysis, manage reports, and collaborate with facilities to share best practices, while prioritizing tasks to minimize production and supply chain impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in a business/operations field.
• Experience with inventory management or manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in analyzing data and generating actionable insights.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and standardize internal material handling operations at multiple sites across North America, providing technical leadership for inventory-related processes.
• Support inventory analysis and data-driven decision making with contracted logistics and plant departments.
• Maintain accuracy of systems supporting production operation standards and parts availability through discrepancy analysis.
• Validate department readiness to ensure manufacturing goals are achieved and production runs smoothly.
• Review and maintain daily inventory and production-related reports and visit on-site areas to resolve issues.
