Job summary

Aviata at Greenacres seeks an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our organization and strengthen our workplace culture across care centers. You will deliver HR services, support leadership teams, and enhance the employee experience with a focus on policy, onboarding, and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year of progressive HR experience in SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility).
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, compliance, and employment law.
• Proven ability to work across multiple sites with diverse teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Professionalism, integrity, and commitment to high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support Human Resources operations across multiple skilled nursing and care centers.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and ongoing development to facility management teams and HR coordinators, with regular travel required.
• Guide and support recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training initiatives across multiple locations.
• Design and implement recruitment and retention strategies to support workforce stability and growth.
• Evaluate candidates and provide meaningful hiring recommendations, including input on employment decisions as appropriate.
• Develop and lead employee engagement and recognition programs across assigned facilities.
• Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures in compliance with corporate standards and applicable federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve HR systems, processes, and overall organizational effectiveness.
