Job summary

B&S Site Development in Atlanta seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead field operations on large, time-sensitive civil projects. You will manage multiple active job sites, coordinate crews and subcontractors, review drawings, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with a sharp focus on safety.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in site development or heavy civil construction, strong leadership, and solid communication. OSHA knowledge and a valid driver’s license are required; OSHA 30 preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in site development or heavy civil construction.
• 3+ years supervisory experience as a Superintendent or similar leadership role.
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans and documents.
• Knowledge of grading, utilities, stormwater, and paving.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Strong leadership and motivational abilities.
• Excellent organizational, scheduling, and communication skills.
• Proficient with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Valid driver's license.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and milestones.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
• Interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Ensure work meets design, budget, schedule, quality.
• Monitor safety and conduct safety meetings.
• Communicate progress with project managers daily.
• Mentor foremen and field crews.
• Manage inspections, testing, documentation.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records: daily reports, timecards, logs.
