Job summary

Becker Wright Consultants is seeking a seasoned Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale design-build projects from pre-construction through completion. This is a dedicated, full-time, on-site leadership role responsible for safety, schedule, and quality control.

You will supervise all field operations, coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, and labor; manage critical-path schedules; interpret plans and specs; conduct daily site inspections; lead

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a Construction Superintendent.
• Two heavy civil design-build projects completed in the last 15 years, each valued at $10M+
• USACE EM 385-1-1 24-Hour Construction Safety Training completed within the last 5 years
• Resume clearly showing experience managing critical path schedules and reading plans and specifications
• Ability to be on site whenever construction is underway
• Ability to serve exclusively as Superintendent, with no other project duties

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations on heavy civil projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, and labor
• Manage schedules, including critical path activities
• Interpret and execute plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Conduct daily site inspections and uphold quality control
• Lead safety meetings and enforce project safety requirements
• Work closely with Project Managers, Owners, Engineers, and Inspectors
• Maintain daily reports, field records, and project documentation
