Job summary

Mainframe Solutions is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to lead field execution for complex civil projects in the Houston area. You will own day-to-day field operations, coordinating crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and inspections to deliver projects on time and safely.

The role requires at least 5+ years of heavy civil field experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read civil plans. Bachelor-level education in construction-related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil field construction experience.
• Experience leading multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Strong ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily heavy civil field operations and ensure safe, productive execution.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and deliveries.
• Develop and implement daily/weekly work plans with project leadership.
• Monitor production, manpower, equipment utilization, and project progress.
• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate inspections and maintain quality standards on site.
• Identify field conflicts and develop practical solutions.
• Communicate project progress and potential issues to Project Managers.
