Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a Hardware & ASIC Development Project Manager in Agoura Hills, CA to lead cross-functional teams through complex prototypes, demonstrations, and product development. You will manage scope, risks, and stakeholder expectations, driving go-to-market alignment and delivering on aggressive project timelines.

The role requires 8+ years in technical project management, experience with ASIC/semiconductor hardware, and collaboration across engineering, operations, and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in Technical Project Management and Product Development.
• Experience managing ASIC, semiconductor, FPGA, or complex hardware programs.
• Familiarity with semiconductor development: design, verification, tape-out, validation, ramp.
• Experience with external technology partners, suppliers, or manufacturing partners.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Experience managing multi-geography teams.
• Ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
• Initiative-taking, accountable, goal-focused.
• PM background in multi-functional environments.
• Training in project management with emphasis on structure and processes.
• Expertise in one major discipline (Engineering, Operations, or Marketing).
• Strong communication skills adapted to diverse audiences.
• Systematic problem-solving, proactive issue resolution.
• Strong decision-making abilities.
• Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex hardware and ASIC development programs across cross-functional teams.
• Track execution through milestones: requirements, design reviews, tape-out, validation, and release.
• Deliver business results by align­ing product strategy with development outcomes.
• Develop and monitor project plans; negotiate trade-offs for ambitious but achievable results.
• Direct day-to-day project work and resolve issues quickly.
• Lead project and phase gate approval reviews with stakeholders.
