Job summary

Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• ServSafe Certification is required.
• Experience with institutional cooking and health regulations is expected.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise food service operations across multiple sites.
• Ensure regulatory and funder standards compliance.
• Lead a team of food service workers and coordinate schedules.
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals on time per standards.
• Post and review meal menus for participants and staff.
• Maintain inventory, ordering, and sanitation compliance.
• Train staff and handle equipment maintenance communications.
• Ensure safety and quality in all food service activities.
