Job summary

New Horizons in Los Angeles is seeking a Full Time, Non-Exempt Multi-Site Facilities and Vehicle Assistant to deliver custodial and facilities support across Glendale, Thousand Oaks, and additional sites. You will help keep campuses clean, safe, and organized, while assisting with events, setup, and daily operations.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends, proficiency in Word, Outlook and Excel, and a California driver's license to support vehicle operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of custodial field requirements.
• Flexible to meet changing campus needs, including evenings and weekends.
• Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel; able to use Angus and document work orders.
• Valid California driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and clean public areas to maintain a welcoming, safe campus.
• Assist with events and site setup, including kitchens and bathrooms.
• Perform routine equipment checks and minor repairs per training.
• Coordinate work orders and equipment maintenance across multiple sites.
• Support security and safety initiatives with the Safety Council.
• Back-up to Facilities Custodial Coordinator as needed.
