Job summary

BrightPath Kids is hiring a Full-Time Facilities/Maintenance role in the Akron and Cleveland area. The position supports multiple child care centers with maintenance, repairs, and vendor management to ensure safe, compliant environments.

You will handle light trades, scheduling, and audits while maintaining strong service standards. A minimum of 2 years in facilities roles and excellent communication are expected; travel between sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience required.
• Proficient in facilities disciplines and total site responsibilities.
• Budget-minded and customer service oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Willingness to increase knowledge in the field and stay up to date on new processes and systems.
• Flexibility in schedule to occasionally complete tasks outside of normal business hours.

Responsibilities

• Total site maintenance and management of up to 15 locations.
• Light construction and/or maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring, and repairs.
• Small appliance troubleshooting and repair (refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.).
• Exterior space maintenance and vendor management, including playgrounds.
• Work order management system for internal requests.
• Maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors and manage their performance.
• Monitor contractual obligations.
• Support centers through audits and regulatory visits, initiatives and compliance.
