Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Mount Vernon, Virginia is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to join our on-site team. You will be responsible for total site maintenance, light construction and repairs, and coordinating with vendors to keep centers running smoothly.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
2+ years of relevant facilities maintenance experience.
Proficient in facilities disciplines and site responsibilities.
Strong budget sense and customer service orientation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to expand knowledge and adapt to new processes.
Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

Maintain all sites' facilities and manage maintenance tasks.
Perform light construction and maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and flooring.
Troubleshoot and repair small appliances.
Manage exterior spaces and vendor relationships.
Oversee work orders and monitor vendor performance.
Assist with audits, regulatory visits, and compliance initiatives.
