Job summary

YWCA Seattle King Snohomish is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain multiple building systems across our properties. The role requires 2-3 years of hands-on maintenance experience, basic computer skills for work orders, and the ability to travel between Issaquah, Bellevue, Maple Valley, and Redmond.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' hands-on facility maintenance or building trades experience.
• Basic computer skills to operate work order apps.
• Teamwork and diplomacy with site personnel and supervisors.
• Knowledge of building and mechanical systems; ability to troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to travel regularly between YWCA locations.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders within the expected timeframe and track progress.
• Assist with painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs to building systems.
• Maintain inventory records, data entry, and safety records.
• Support Ops Manager in community upkeep and safe/clean common areas.
• Schedule or perform PMIs and coordinate with contractors as needed.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies when on-call.
