Job summary

Gersh Autism is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to support multiple locations, including Issaquah, WA. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to emergencies, and help prep new sites while keeping campuses safe, clean, and well‑maintained.

You should have a high school diploma, be fluent in English, possess a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable using hand and power tools. Prior maintenance experience and basic carpentry/plumbing knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluent in English.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Basic carpentry, plumbing, and general building maintenance knowledge; licensure not required but preferred.
• Maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across sites.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and monitor equipment, machinery, and building systems across multiple sites.
• Ensure safety, upkeep, and appearance of interiors, exteriors, grounds, and parking areas.
• Conduct site inspections and address safety, maintenance, and compliance issues.
• Coordinate snow removal, salting, and seasonal maintenance needs.
• Ensure boiler rooms, electrical panels, and mechanical areas are clean and code compliant.
• Assist with openings/closures of locations and special events.
