Job summary

Sunrise Preschools is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to manage hourly field Technicians and day-to-day maintenance across multiple states. The role focuses on efficient facility operations, vendor management, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will lead a small team, coordinate capital projects, and implement best practices to support school operations and center performance. Strong communication, safety, and scheduling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
• Experience with work order management systems.
• Experience in a lead or supervisory maintenance role preferred.
• 3–5 years in facilities or similar leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with center operations to execute strategic pillars.
• Support development and implementation of best practices for the field team.
• Manage technician schedules and ensure effective communication between Facilities and Operations.
• Oversee third-party providers, scheduling work and communicating scope and timing.
• Ensure efficiency and productivity of Facilities Technicians and adherence to maintenance routines.
• Develop vendor relationships to maintain cost-competitive services with SLAs.
• Act as SME for operations and Facilities, ensuring regulatory compliance including playground safety.
• Plan capital equipment purchases to improve facilities portfolio.
• Provide feedback for continuous process improvements and safety.
• Schedule travel to meet job requirements and liaise with staff and providers.
• Maintain a safe working environment per company safety policies.
