An established education organization is seeking a Preschool Maintenance Technician to ensure safe and functional preschool environments across multiple campuses. The ideal candidate will have experience in building maintenance, strong communication skills, and a customer-service mindset. Responsibilities include repairs, inspections, and managing vendor activity. This is a full-time position based in Township of Washington, NJ with competitive pay and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of general building maintenance experience, ideally in schools or multi-site environments.
• Must pass state-required background checks and maintain valid fingerprint clearance.
• Physically able to lift up to 50lbs (occasionally up to 100lbs) and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building repairs, including plumbing and electrical work.
• Conduct inspections to identify facility needs and safety risks.
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance situations.
